Well, this move seems a lot more easier than when we moved from Hawaii to Naples...but then again we just started the whole process. I just shipped my car today, so no more convenient cruising for me. Sometimes I take a moment to reflect on our time here in Italy and I get a little disheartened. Though we did go to England, Scotland and Germany - I wish that we would've spent more time traveling. We were broke for most of the year so that is why we didn't but I wish we could've at least made it to Paris. Alas, now I am going to have to save money to go another time. Well, I guess we spent the day in Paris, technically, but I don't really count that.
Ever since the Barbie Fashionista movie came out, my daughter has been obsessed with going to Paris. I promised her that if she learned French I would take her there someday. Hopefully, she doesn't call me on my bluff anytime soon because between going to college and this move; all my financial resources are tied up.
You wouldn't believe the crap you have shovel through to make reservation for your pet. Although, not as bad as trying to fly them into Hawaii - it is still a lot. If I would've know I would only be here for a year I would've have left the car and the dog back stateside.
