The Sims Medieval

So, I guess my dirty little secret it out but Shhhhh...no one I really know (with the exception of my husband and my Mom) actually reads this blog so I guess that it is safe to say, "Yes, I do play the Sims, sometimes I even mod the Sims, and I own just about every Sims game created." Let's just keep that between you and me though, eeh? I am still in an "in-the-closet" type phase about me being a huge nerd/geek.

I downloaded this game straight from the Amazon market place for a lot cheaper than it sells on the official EA page and best of all since I downloaded I don't always need the CD to start the game and I don't have to look for a no cd crack and/or patch. It only took a little bit over an hour to download and install the game. Check it out for yourself if Sims is your little dirty secret too:

The Sims Medieval is not an expansion pack to the Sims 3, it is it's own game so you don't have to worry about buying a base game like the Sims 3 just to play it (just thought I'd put that out there). It is a "The Sims" themed RPG. This game revolves around the "Heroes" rather than individuals or households, and like a RPG it is quest based but it still allows you certain free play advantages like the Sims, the Sims 2, and the Sims 3 games. Your heroes can even spawn children and add members to their household if they are the taking part in a quest (the quirky thing is that you cannot select and control the children or the added household members) and the "testingcheats" can be used to a certain degree but you have to change the program code in order to enable it. Your role in this game is "The Watcher" (EA even included a church which worships and prays to you). It is enough like the Sims for you to navigate the game play content but it is not the Sims 3.

Below are some cheats and helpful hints that I have used that worked for Sims Medieval:
