Boring Dream that scared the shit out of me

So it's been a while since I've had a vivid dream that I could remember. Unfortunately, this one was boring but it did manage to scare me awake. This is the first time in two weeks that I go back to regular work schedule, which means I have to wake up at 5AM and of course, I couldn't sleep. I didn't get to sleep until well after 2AM. Anyway, I went to bed and I told myself "I will wake up on time in the morning". I just kept repeating it until I eventually fell asleep.

The Dream
I dreamt, very vividly, that I woke up on my own because I didn't hear the alarm go off. I am wearing what I went to sleep in last night and my hair makes bed head look pretty. "Not a good thing, it'll take me an hour to brush my hair," I think to myself in the dream because it was 5:55AM. So, I roll out of bed. Brush my teeth. Look out the window and my ride is still there (I carpool because my car needs to go into the shop). Relieved, I frantically mad dash around the house to get my bag ready for work (which doesn't make any sense because I packed it before I went to bed but in the dream that is what I am doing). I look out the window and the car is still there so I go to the bathroom. I grab my keys and my bag and I look out the window and watch my ride pull out of the parking spot and drive away. "FUCK", I say to myself in the dream. Then it somehow is 7AM. I am looking for the number to my supervisor and I can't find it to call them and let them know I am...late? sick? dead? I wake my husband up and ask him if he's seen it. He starts to look for the number while I try to brush my hair. My Mom wakes up, then my children wake up. She volunteers to go out to the car to try find the number. Weird. Then my daughter is late to school. I take the shuttle bus to work. Then I am standing in the hallway at work getting chewed out.Then I wake up suddenly. And I am lying in my bed. I try to open my eyes and the clock says 5:55AM; I jump out of bed like WTF.

Then I actually wake up...standing. I look at the clock and I woke up 1 minute before the alarm is supposed to go off.
