I mourn the night
As the sun pierces through the sky line
My cold, shuddering heart
Fully exposed to this soft warm glow
Sent down from heavens above
To cast away the tiniest shadows, all that was left of my dreams
The luminous rays of a golden type hue
Creep through this world, shining on through
This bright chipper world that I can no longer claim as mine
Tinting my gray skin with a pinkish blush
Oh how it disgusts me
To walk amongst the living once more

I'm not a big fan of poetry. But I loved this.
